1ST ANNUAL BASH
Our first BASH was a great success!- 28 St. Helena Appellation wineries poured 57 wines
- One wine from each winery was paired with a food created by one of 12 local St. Helena restaurants, caterers and food purveyors or one of 16 student chef teams from the Culinary Institute of America.
- VIP ticket holders enjoyed a special tasting and a food preparation demonstration in the Culinary Institute of America's EcoLab Theater, given by Lars Kronmark, chief Instructor Chef of the Culinary Institute.
- Attendees voted on the best food and wine pairing in both professional and student categories:
- Professional Category -1st Place - La Condesa

- 1st Place - CIA Team #10 - Ellen Fort - Nashville, TN & Erin Morrissey - Los Angeles, CA paired with Vineyard 29
- 2nd Place - CIA Team #5 - Jenna Demarco - Santa Fe, NM & Liz Strole - Berkeley, CA paired with David Fulton Winery
- 3rd Place - CIA Team # 2 - Michael Egelbede - Nigeria, Africa & Steven Mc Dyer - Kodiak, AK paired with Benessere Vineyards
